How we build, deploy and operate cloud native applications for the Enterprise Risk platform in DBS Bank
Vasanth Kumar has more than 20 years of experience working with banking and financial organizations globally. He joined DBS Bank in November 2019 and is leading development teams building applications for the consumer and operational risk platforms. He is also responsible for transforming legacy applications into scalable cloud native solutions. Prior to joining DBS, he was with NTUC Link and was been responsible for building and managing their software engineering teams to deliver new age products and a technology led customer engagement platform. During his various roles with fintech and banking solutions providers, he has built and delivered social payments for banks and remittance houses in APAC, Middle East and Europe. He played key roles in the implementation of prestigious national payments systems in Singapore (FAST) and Malaysia (FPX). He holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science and Engineering from the University of Madras.
